Matthew Stoebe: Data Scientist
While studying at the University of Washington, I worked as a notary public and loan signing agent, helping real estate investors close deals. This inspired me to get involved in real estate. I saved, studied, got prequalified, even hired an agent, but as interest rates rose and my career shifted to data science, I slowly lost motivation.
As a data scientist, I build tools for real estate-telecom executives to evaluate portfolio acquisitions, but keep wondering “What about me?” Why isn’t there a simple, reliable, and affordable tool for the retail investor?
This is why I am building Investor Sidecar.
Our mission is to simplify underwriting and provide actual value for free with minimal friction. We want to help you find the best deals and focus your time on creative decisions making instead of trudging though manual property analysis.
I hope you enjoy investor sidecar as much as I have.
Ken Latimer: ML Engineer
I always aspired to retire early which motivated me to pursue an engineering degree and a high-paying job but quickly realized that may not be enough. This led me to real estate investing, and I was amazed at the possibility of retiring within 10 years with returns far above the stock market average.
Unfortunately, it was a challenge to find high-quality opportunities while working full-time. So, on the road to my first investment, I joined a paid mentorship group that provided deals analyzed by real estate agents. This worked for me but would not have been necessary if the right tools were available.
That’s why I’m excited to be building Investor Sidecar. This is the tool that I wish I had when I first started investing, and I’m excited to share it with you. I hope it helps you achieve your goals and brings you closer to financial freedom.
Jonathan Birchman: Developer
I’ve always loved building and have been fortunate to make it my career. While studying computer engineering at the University of Washington, I developed the technical foundation I now use to architect autonomous semi-truck systems and on the side, I build software solutions ranging from financial applications to e-sports platforms.
Like many of my friends, I’m excited about real estate investing but dont know where to start. Investor Sidecar is designed to bridge that gap between interest and action, streamlining the process. There’s still lots to learn, but I’m excited to share this tool with you.
